The new look of the website is fantastic.

The pictures and information about Splash in the "Missed" section are sad and wonderful at the same time.

Congratulations to Beth Ericson for putting the information about Splash on the website for all to see and read. If all breeders were so honest and forthright, the Golden world would be a better place.

I was looking at K9 database at Kodi Dad's littermates and ran across your website on pedigree. I like your outlook on the breed and the information contained on your site. Why are Dog Trainers the only ones to post the real truth about dogs on website.

Keep up the good information online. Too many people are going to the "imported" dogs which are not US Bred. My dogs are all US bred with great health checks being done at NC State Vet School. I don't take any chances with health because of personal experiences I have had with "money" breeders. Thanks for who you are.

Congrats to all of the Wakemup/Benden dogs who competed at the Sunflower Cluster and agility trials this past weekend in Park City. Brenda and Honey got HIT and HC all three days in the obedience ring. Beth finished her Open title with Tate, and her Novice title with Danger - their first weekend out in obedience at these levels. Vicki and Danny won at least one runoff and placed in the top 3 several times. Bounder got his first Utility leg at the Wheatland Specialty obedience trial, and won Open B. Jim and Brook got 3 QQ's in the agility ring. Lori and Storm got 2 QQ's and are within 1 QQ of finishing that MACH 2!!!

Three "puppies" from the Dance litter (Brook, Bounder, and Storm), represented Wakemup Goldens at the Agility Nationals in Sunbury, OH March 30 - April 1, 2007. A great time was had by all. Jim Nelson and Brook qualified in all three classes of the National tournament and landed in 23rd place out of about 140 dogs in the 24" class.

Since we share the same name I checked out your website. I'm thrilled to find it as I love Golden Retrievers (I grew up with a champion dam.I wish I could have a dog now, but I'm out of my house long hours, so my future Golden retriever will have to wait for my retirement.

Just to flesh out the brags for Lori and Storm just a bit more, on Sunday of the Tulsa trial, they not only took First in Novice B Obedience and Novice B Rally, but also First in EX Standard and EX JWW in the agility rings. Talk about a FON!!!
