Welcome to our web site! We are proud to have the opportunity to showcase the talented dogs and handlers that make up the Wakemup family. Although we are located in Kansas, our name comes from our favorite place to visit. Beautiful Lake Vermillion in Northern Minnesota is the site of Wakemup Bay, where I vacationed growing up. My parents retired there, allowing us to visit with the dogs as often as we can! While our breeding schedule is very limited (one litter every 2 or 3 years), you would never know it by the tremendous success enjoyed by this very accomplished group! We can't say enough about the wonderful people that own, love, and compete with our dogs. We hope you enjoy your visit! Honey finished Saturday as top Golden Retriever, Top Sporting dog, and second place overall. On Sunday they made it to the final eight teams!!!! News Flashes Ticket brings home a TD title! Nash has a perfect weekend. Brook goes 4 for 6 and the youngster Tracer brings home a couple of Q's! Risky brings home an OA and OAJ title! Halley brings home her MX title! Storm got his 4th Q and AJP title in Pref Exc A JWW and brings home his 1st Pref Exc B JWW Q! Nova gets her UD! Buzz gets 1 leg and his Junior Hunter (JH) title Bill won his fast class to finish his XF, Bill gets 10th QQ and qualifies him for GRCA Agility Hall of Fame. HOLD THE PRESSES! Indie earned his first QQ today, with placements (reds)!! Buzz brought home 2 JH legs in Williamsburg, Mo Buzz brought home 1 JH leg in Ravenna, Tx. on 4/14 Storm is moving on to Preferred Excellent Jumpers and having a blast! Dang those pesky contacts........ Ticket passes certification track!!! Bill gets his T2B title and 9th QQ!!! Brook gets MACH 7!!! Bill gets a QQQ! Tryn gets her MXJ! Bill gets his MX and 7th QQ. He is 2 years old....... Impressive....... Bill's accomplishments! See Brags Storm makes his debut in the preferred class. Indie brings home a couple of legs!!! See Brags! Tryn & Dayna make their debut after a new knee!!! What a thrill!!! See Brags! Bill brings home his OF title and his 6th QQ, his first excellent Fast leg, along with gorgeous OFA films on hips and elbows!!! Indie & Lori make their debut in USDAA!!! Bill gets his 5th QQ. What an awesome team! See Brags Word has it from Grandma Lori - that Halley got her AXJ and OF in December. Congratulations Cindy & Halley! MACH4 Stormy - Congratulations to Lori and Stormy.
